This weekend is July 4th and nothing says America quite like a parade, especially one down Lincoln Avenue. The parade is not the only highlight this weekend, there’s also a community pancake breakfast, a block party, and the grand finale will be the fireworks at Howelsen Hill. We have designed nine new bus shelters to be installed this Fall along Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs. Katy Vaughn, our project designer, told Steamboat Today that these shelters are supposed to reflect Northwest Colorado’s historic architecture. National Design Awards Winners Announced!

Last week the winners of the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt 11th annual National Design Awards were announced. The main three criteria that the jury looked at when deciding the winners were excellence, innovation and enhancement of the quality of life.
